Blind leading the blind

Was the vehicle commander for the land rover transporting ration to those guys working at kallang. The driver was late and to make it worse he was a cat D driver. But its okie as i will be following the rover. As we move off, i asked him if he knows the way to kallang. He said shld have no problem. Well, that surely will put anyone's mind at ease. To even settle my mind more, he has this route card which state the route to take to reach kallang. It was as simple as ABC as i read the paper. All right. Nothing shld go wrong, so i zone out into planet krypton. Who knows 2omins into the jurong, i say a board by the road side which a arrow and the word WOODLANDS on it. OMG... something is definitely wrong even if i dont know the road. We then begin our mad drive around singapore. Imagine that, a vehicle com who doesnt knows how to drive with a cat D driver who reportedly says he only drive around training area. Blind leading the blind?? Hell yeah. In the end, i took command over the situation. With the help of the greatest invention of all time (the handphone). I manage to get onto BKE and following the paper that he is supposed to follow, i brought him to kallang. Sounds easy right?? We took 2 hrs to reach there and we cover 100km!!!! WOoo.. thats 2 and 1/2 round singapore.

Before we left back for camp, i asked my friend how to go back. They said: " easy lah, its just retracing your route." Yeah.. easy as it sound. On my way back, i went past 3 sec schs, 1poly, 4jcs, 1 uni and we covered another 75km. Its just like amazing race. Lost in a "strange country" and tryin to find your way back to your destination. Hell of an achievement when i got back camp. LOL.. seriously and i like to thank the government for putting up so many road signs and highlighting the expressway route in orange. I from now on offically like orange. LOL..

France is Thru.. Oldies rock at times too dont you think so?? france vs italy. Sure an entertaining match. Henry vs Canna, Zidane vs Gattuso, Makalele vs Pirlo, Thuram vs Totti.

Monday on off.. feeling damn high now. Been weeks since i actually have a proper weekend..
