Work to live or Live to work?
i believe in a few yrs time, after getting the rolled up piece of paper and taking pictures with a square hat on top of ur head. Its time when u face the reality of work and life. Do you work to live ur life or do u live your life to work? Starting work at 9 and leave at 1200am, working on the weekends and asking parttimers to OT and even come back on weekends to OT. Workacholic? or is he just living his life to work? They keep sayin if we dont work we wont have money to spend. BUT if u work from monday to sunday, reaching work at 9, leaving at 12. What do u need to spend on?? Take note that i use the word need and not want. Most people normally work harder because they want to earn extra money to get their wants, unless their normal working shift is unable to satisfy their needs. That makes things simpler. You are workin to live. But imagine an asst manager, young and holding a decent pay. Working 6days a week, from 9 to 12am. Whats the reason for this? To retire early? well, thats a reasonable ans. But have u ever wonder what if u earn a million bucks and u are able to retire at the age of 40. But u cant live pass 41yrs old. So whats the money for? Well, maybe u can get a very decent coffin and a very large space in the obituary. Other than that what can you do? Leave it to their sons u say. Okie.. but how are u goin to get a wife when u dont even have a life? The only time you have only a sunday, i dont believe anyone would have the energy to mix ard after a long week of work. It would have surely drained even superman out not to say a normal person.
Some people work damn to chase their dreams and goals but when they actually got what they wanted, they may not have the time to actually enjoy it. A person should juggle between their work and life. A life of 70yrs should not be spend in the ratio of 25yrs of education, 40yrs of work and when u start to enjoy ur life, you are totally drained. Work smart, Work hard, Play hard too.
