A few weeks after i got the mail, i finally got a call confirming everything. On the day i got well from the bloody virus, zq called me to tell me he saw my name on this list of personal who is supposedly to be called up for their In camp training (ICT).
The day i walk out of the camp, it was one filled with renewed energy, joy and freedom. The day i got this letter, all my wings went burnt and i was send tumbling back to ground. Sounds exaggarating isnt it? But i believe theres alot out there that would wish they had nothing more to do with green uniforms and the fact they had to run and dash across trees and hills fighting imaginary enemies.
Its not that i dont understand what the government is doing. Yes, i agree this is an excellent idea is providing a good protection for our country but what is not welcoming is they never try to better the experience we had there. We do have our good, but most of the times, its bad. I shall stop in case i go over the line. I can only look towards the reunion i will have with friends i lost contact with comes jun 11. And thats not very comforting at all...
