Caught this English game show (Deal or No Deal) no channel 5 yesterday. Actually it isnt really a game show. Its practically a money giving show. Whoever the contestants, as long as he/she participate in the show. He/she wins. Its just a matter of 1dollars or a whooping 250 000dollars.
The contestant is supposed to choose 1 box out of the 20+ boxes? Then he slowly opens to rest of the boxes to know which amt is not the one he chose. And as the game goes on, there will be this mysterious banker (thats what they called him) who will give him an amt of money to stop and go home with. Therefore forfetting whatever amt might be in the first box he chose. Then the host of the show, Adrian. The most fake of all, have to act like hes on the contestant side. Act all solemn and disappointed when the contestants find the money in the box he chosen first was actually getting smaller and smaller.

Other than the suspense created when they are revealing the amt of money in the different boxes opened, overall its just a really senseless game. I shall stick with the taiwan's variety game show.
