Was in the school library this afternoon trying to get myself to understand maths 4. I overheard this grp of students beside me saying, students now look at the number of As as a mark of their success. I started to think about this statement. In the singapore society, it seems A is the way to go. Everyone is striving for that, those who dont just means they have given up. The constant aim for A is tiring, Pw said this. To get good results, you need to have either talent, hard work or extremely good luck. That is also the reason why everyone admires those with talent. With talent, you do things half the time people normally take to do. You can make it look so simple that those without talent can do dream of. Having talent is like halfway to success. Sadly, i am not one with it. hahaa

With now everyone striving for A. i think in a few years time, the MOE will have to change the meaning for A. In a few years time, A will equals Average. B will be Bad. C will be Crap. If you get D, i predict you should be Dead. I dont think we will need an E or F after u are Dead. Thus in a few years time, A+ or A++ will be the way to go. But for now, let us be content with being Bad and Crap.
