The food quest continues. This time, we ended up at S21, lavender foodcourt. Food on the quest list is wanton mee. Took us quite a while to get there. The bus stop that we took our bus from wasnt exactly that visible from Boon Keng MRT. We had to walk past a coffee shop, a few blks of HBD and a multi story carpark just to get to that bus stop. We werent exactly sure where to stop either. The only clue i had was a shop that sells alot of lights. The first image that cross my mind was that shop have to be very very bright. As we travelled on the bus towards the destination, the girl suddenly shouted, ther! there is the place! I turned and look. The first thing that came to my mind was Wheres the lights?? It turned out that the shop was closed and was replaced by a clothing shop.
The first sight that greeted me as i walked into the foodcourt was the long queue leading up to the wanton mee store. No way can it be mistaken.

You must be thinking, houquan is a pig, he is definitaly eating the big bowl. NOPE! you are wrong. I think i dont have to say anymore who is eating the big bowl.
Well, the reason why i am satisfied with the small bowl of wanton mee was actually becos the girl said the popiah here is very nice and i am eager to try out other the other food stuff they had in here. The wanton mee i must say is much much better than alot of others out there. The bad side is that the mee's portion isnt alot and the char siew are sliced up way too thin. Its thiner than the roti prata i had a few days ago. The popiah proudly introduced by the girl was much higher in score compared to the wanton mee. Its at least a 4.2/5 for the popiah. Well, i didnt stop there. Actually, its we. We followed with each a chicken wing and a mango ice kachang for dessert. That ended the fulfilling dinner we had. Now i have another place in my goodfooddirectory. Thumbs up for the girl. =) Its her craving for the wanton mee when she was half asleep that brought us here.
