Have been very very lazy lately. Just cant find enough motivation to start blogging.
Been a week since my special sem paper ended. Dont really remembered how the days passed me by only know that i have been spending most of my time with her.
Last sunday, i woke up early in the morning. its 415am to be exact. Barely had i slept for 3 hrs that i have to climb out of the bed and prepare to head out for canvassing. We were told to report at dohby ghaut at an insanely early hour of 530am. The cocks were even awake and we had to report to the venue and dress ourselves in bright gayish pink for the ANLENE mile high run. Even the taxi drivers on midnight shift were asleep when i left my house to hunt for them. I was quite surprise by the big turnout for the event. There were even professional runners from Kenya. For those who aint sure, 1 mile is 1.6km. The whole run was actually a 1.6km run. There's a competitive race and a non competitive one. One's for those who thrive on competition and are aiming for the fabulous prices while the other is for those who got nothing to do early in the morning. And you will be shock with the timing the top 3 runners that came in for the various age group. Even those grannies in the above 60 years old group thrash me upside down. Not to say those that ran the competitive race. The first one came in approximately 4mins plus. wth. I barely finish my first 400m with that timing and she finish 1.6km with that. That is insane.
After the whole event ended, i headed to PS with her. We decided to buy a bottle of water at carrefour, when we came across a super interesting event at the cashier. As we were queuing to pay the water, there is this cashier just opposite us that caught our attention. As he scanned each particular item from the basket, he put them down onto the counter until he finish scanning all the items. Normally, any cashier would have scanned and put the item directly into a shopping bag/plastic bag. Instead, this particular cashier put them down onto the counter. The counter looked like a mess, it looked worst than my study table. The speed at which he scanned the various items werent particularly fast either and apparantly the customer got so tired of waiting for him to pack the items that she decided to do it on her own. Giving the sicken face, she stretched her hands over the counter to get herself a shopping bag before starting to sort out and pack her own items. The whole scene look so pathetic that i cant help but burst out laughing. Imagine the customer having to pack her own shopping bags after the cashier finish scanning the items.
