The mugger that i am took up special sem this holiday. Astronomy was the module. It is actually quite an enjoyable subject. The class always end half an hr early and the final exam paper is MCQ. Isnt that great or what. hahah. Actually the subject itself is very interesting. Astronomy is not equals to astrology. People who studied astronomy most probably wont be able to read your palms and predict your future but it most probably will be able to read the stars(sounds cool right?), and understand the outerspace. It is amazing how much we could learn. The solar system is just one very small system is the whole universe. The planets we know now all differ greatly from one another. And whats the possbility of aliens? no one knows, the universe is just too big, too wide.

That day the lecturer went through the notes talking about terrestrial planets or planets which are rocky in nature. There are 4 such planets which are namely Earth, mercury, mars and venus. As i read the notes while listening to his unintelligible lectures, this part caught my eyes.

Venus is the planet most like Hell!!

the reason for this statement is because venus conotains searing heat, heavy pressure, clouds of sulfuric acid and frequent volcanic eruptions. Then for some reason,the phrase suddenly ran across my mind.

Men are from mars, women are from venus.

Wow.. i wonder if the author knew about the venus being most like hell statement before he wrote that book. If he actually do knew about it, that means something dont it? hmmmmm
