Was playing mahjong over at my friend's toa payoh flat when i suddenly felt myself moving, swaying from side to side. I looked at my friend and they looked at me. Then my friend's mom suddenly shouted, ah soon ah. di zhen ah. Then it dawn to me that i wasnt fainting, its just that there's another earthquake a few thousand miles away and i was feeeeeeling its tremors.

On my way home, i was thinking that if i could feel the tremors in singapore which is a country with no natural disasters, it must be hell over at ground zero. The shaking must be immense, the fear at that particular moment must be overwhelming. Now i understand why there are people who are so shaken after a earthquake that they just sat at a corner in a dazed. The effects of the earthquake will be too much for the victims to take in. Really too much and too sudden.
